Finite Recruitment is ANZ’s leading Technology, Digital, Risk, and Business Transformation specialist recruiter. With nine ANZ offices, circa 90 internal staff, 900 external contractors and over 200 clients, Finite’s Australian recruitment business contributed $175M of the Group’s overall revenue of $448M for FY22, up 9.4% year on year.

Finite strives to be progressive and focuses substantially on digital transformation in line with best-practice thinking. Finite recognised that harnessing the latest technological advancements could improve productivity and give the management team greater insights and performance analysis tools. Finite established two areas of focus: the implementation of an interactive and highly configurable Sales Dashboard and the implementation of a Business Performance Dashboard. A Steering Group was established to obtain requirements, analyse and outline priorities, and create working groups to conduct testing, provide feedback and ultimately roll out the delivery.

Based on previous experience, Finite selected Qlik’s Data Analytics tool as the business reporting tool and Microsoft’s PowerBI as the sales reporting tool because it was embedded within the MS Dynamics Platform they were already using. Finite established an agile approach to implementing these tools, and staff were successfully onboarded.

The Business Dashboard currently provides monthly detailed P&L reporting across the business. This system significantly increases access to information, supporting and enabling decision-making around cost control, maximising cash flow and driving profitability in consolidated form and broken down by region. The Sales Dashboard provides sales reporting and can be configured by time, region, brand, salesperson or client. This provides improved transparency, accuracy and visibility across the business allowing for far greater sales understanding, trends and continuous improvement.
